Whether it's a good or a bad thing is subjective. He falls off of a building and walks away unscathed. The reason and objective of Norio's arrival in this world is gradually revealed. The next day, Midori sees a shining figure in school and everyone on the school grounds starts talking about a ghost. Rewatch value: This is a drama that you should watch at one go but once you know the story and its plots, you may not want to revisit it anytime soon. That was actually how I found this drama.
The next day, Midori sees a shining figure in school and everyone on the school grounds starts talking about a ghost. But knowing the future helps. Summary: Iwata Koichi Nakamura Aoi and Kagawa Midori Sakurai Minami are second-year students at Tozaiyama High School. It sits somewhere in between as a fair entertainment. .
But oh well, I got my dose of Nakamura Aoi and I'm happy. He seems to have super memory. It starts off as a well shot, whimsical high school childhood friend dorama and then a mysterious transfer student Norio appears and thing get exciting in the middle when it becomes a full blown science fiction story culminating in an uneven finish. I love the ending song. There were many other great performances but it'll be too long to talk about it ; The ending they chose wasn't the best in my view but it doesn't bother me either. Everyone played their roles nicely.
Strange things begin to happen frequently around Koichi whenever Norio appears. It's appeal is on a very personal level for me. At that point, a mysterious transfer student called Yamazawa Norio Hongo Kanata suddenly arrives at the school and moves in to live next door to Koichi. I wasn't convinced that Midori will like xxx, but I'll give it a pass as I think time will help them. The next day, Midori sees a shining figure in school and everyone on the school grounds starts talking about a ghost. She disappeared for a while from the story when the drama got all deep into the sci-fi stuff. Midori comes up with the brilliant idea that Norio has amnesia and that Koichi is the missing link to his memories.
I wished I came in knowing what I was in for. There was none of the polished feel of the bigger budget 'mainstream' dramas. Overall: If you have 6 hours to burn and do not have any excellent dramas you have not watched, this is a good alternative. The opening was equally amazing, and it was actually sung by Sakurai Minami who played Kagawa Midori, lead female role. I do like the whole alien setting and mysterious vibe it gives. There are just too many hints that he is not human!! Konoike voice as Tim Breese. She was far more memorable and interesting.
I was thinking this was going to be sort of a romantic comedy, or something more centered towards the growth of Yamazawa Norio and his time on earth, his growing appreciation for earthly things. Follow Description: Iwata Koichi Nakamura Aoi and Kagawa Midori Sakurai Minami are second-year students at Tozaiyama High School. Well obviously I wrote a raving review for episodes 1-3 but took forever to write up my follow-up review for episodes 4-6. But, it didn't detract too much from the story so I can't really complain.
I especially loved the piano pieces, which really brought out the sweetness and innocence of the scene. I love the way he portrays his character; there are so many little quirks that he adds in that makes just the slightest of gestures amusing to me. There are a couple of important messages that this drama tried to address, albeit to some degree of success: i The consequences of our reliance on technology, 2 The consequences of our greed and curiosity. Norio seems to have morals as well rational decision making capabilities. I think this dorama could've been perfect if given more time more episodes or even seasons to be fully explored, but the story needed to come to an end As for the music it was great. I think this drama was trying to do too much, then it forgot some things that it originally started out with.
The biggest thing that jumped out at my brain was the mysterious enemy. Takes a while to get used to the different filming style, especially if you'd gone from the highly polished Korean dramas to this one. So far she has only been taking care of Norio as a dutiful classmate, not as a close friend that she might have feelings for. One day, while coming home from school, they discover a shooting star rising up in the sky. There was beautiful cinematography in some scenes which is perhaps the only saving grace. There's a little bit of romance in it, but it is not the main theme of this drama. Anyways Koichi starts getting jealous of Norio and he also becomes more suspicious of all of his odd ways.
At that point, a mysterious transfer student called Yamazawa Norio Hongo Kanata suddenly arrives at the school and moves in to live next door to Koichi. It also helped that each episode runs for only 30 mins - kept things tight and concise without the audience losing interest in the story. One thing we know, this tenkousei transfer student is on a mission. The story starts with a bunch of students that couldn't be any more normal who greet a mysterious transfer student.
