Apple's puts some users in a lurch over how they will be continuing to back up their Macs using Time Machine when Time Capsule is no more. Once you have it set up it just runs automatically and it backs up your Mac every hour. Time Machine allows for restoration of files, folders, applications or an entire Mac, depending on your need.
